This year, I think I’ve been developing and reinventing my personal style. Maybe it was a matter of moving back to The States or now having a job that allows me to dress however I want. I used to feel most confident in a pair of jeans, sneakers, and a sweater, but nowadays I’m pretty big on long skirts and own more crop tops than I ever thought possible. You can still find me in jeans or sweats most days of the week, but it’s fun to have something new — something fun — to slip into sometimes. Today, I ventured toward vintage style, with a mid-length skirt, classic stripes, and buckled flats.

Monja came along with me this time, too. I’ve been trying to bring him with me anywhere that I can reasonably take a 30-pound dog both because I hate the thought of him being bored and lonely at home and because I think it soothes any social anxieties he’s had in the past to be put in new situations and places. Also, I just kind of love him. I like when he’s around.
