HEY HEY HEY! I AM WRITING IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE I AM CLEARLY EXCITED.

Remember in December when I announced Bloggers Giving Back? Well we just had our first meeting here in Southern California about a week ago and it was the bomb.diggity. I am now more than a little bit obsessed with Naadine, Ana, Jessica, Megan, and David. 🙂 During our mingle meeting, we exchanged tons of ideas for upcoming volunteer opportunities for bloggers both in Southern California and around the world. Seriously, get ready because we’re all going to do awesome-opossum things together! One of the ideas we jumped on was hosting an OC Blogger Brunch — basically a little party for bloggers with the purpose of making new friends, having fun, and raising money and goods for charity. Sound like the best deal ever or whaaaa?

Bloggers are notorious for their style, so we’re organizing this Blogger Brunch to benefit Working Wardrobes and the Princess Project. Working Wardrobes is an incredible organization that helps at-risk men and women overcome their problems and enter the working world so that they can become self-sufficient. The Princess Project provides free prom dresses to girls who otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford the high cost of school dances. Both organizations were created in California, and we can’t wait to help our neighbors!

So what is this event we’re throwing? First of all, it’s for ANY BLOGGER! You don’t have to live in Southern California. If you can get your little butt to the OC on February 22nd, then we would love to have you join us! Admission is $40 and includes brunch, a fun Pinterest-worthy craft, a photobooth room (because, duh), and getting to meet and mingle with a bunch of other bloggers (i.e. your new BFFs). All profits from your admission fee will go to charity. The event is being held at Great Over Good, an incredible little art center in Orange County, run by the sweetest girl, Naadine!

Want to join us? (Yes, yes you do). The event will be held on February 22nd, starting at 11:00am at Great Over Good. You can RSVP by purchasing admission HERE. Space IS limited and once it’s sold out, it’s sold out. (Don’t miss out, y’all!). Buy your tickets early to get in on this fun way to network with other bloggers, have a fun blog-post-worthy afternoon and give back to charity all at the same time. 🙂 BOO-YAH. And since Working Wardrobes and the Princess Project collect clothing for people in need, we’ll also be accepting clothing donations! If you have any gently worn business clothing (for men or women) or prom-like dresses, BRING ‘EM! We’ll even accept handbags, dress shoes, and accessores…anything someone might need for a job interview or school dance. 🙂 Can’t attend this event because you’re too far away…but still want to donate some clothing?
