Lately, I’ve been wanting to update my home office so that it feels more inviting, organized, and “me.” I’d say that my ideal style mirrors many of the images in the collage above. I love white and airy decor, filled with pops of bright colors, like blues, yellows, pinks, and oranges. I also like the Scandinavian-esque additions of wood and modern, geometric shapes.
The pegboard in the fourth image is interesting to me. I can’t decide if it’s something I’d love or if it would just make my office feel too cluttered. I do have some leftover pegboard laying around from this headboard project, so I should be able to test it out pretty easily! I’m also loving the green plants from the first image blended with the bright whites, pinks, and reds of the desk and chair. I noticed that almost every chair in these images is in the same style. I love these types of chairs — so light and modern looking. Overall, I’m just loving how these office interiors couple bright whites with hints of colorful decor and wood. These pictures definitely give me home office inspiration for some changes I’m working on for my own office. I can’t wait to share when it’s all finished!

I love 3, 6 and 8! I specially love the colored boxes in 8!
Yesss I adore those boxes! Such a nice pop of color.
The peg board would drive me insane! I feel like having a white wall in front of your face is key, just to really let creativity flow? I think that’s why I like #5 best 😉
I think I feel similarly, but I love the way they used the pegboard in that pin up there — especially to pin up things that inspire you at the moment.
omgosh yes give me a knock off corbusier chair any day of the week (until I can afford the real thing *one day*!) yes pleaseeeeee.
haha! I love me some chairs! 😉
Beautiful inspirations! I love the first one so much and the one with the mint green fridge, love! x

I love those, too! So colorful and airy.
Scandinavian homes are so gorgeous. Add that and some pops of color and you’ve got me!

Amen to that!
Decorating is always so much fun! I love the first and the third images.
Those are two of my favorites as well!
I just love the pops of colour!
I know right?!
I really like the bottom two photos with the pastel colours. Would love a pretty space like this as I live in a house full of boys, (husband and three sons!)

haha oh my! Time to teach those boys a lesson in home decor 😉
I’m so in love with 2 and 5. While I love pops of colors, I usually get bored of colors and find that the simpler my decor is the more I enjoy it! #1 has the best natural lighting though!!
I tooootally know what you mean! I think that’s the hardest part for me — I love incorporating color, but then I get really sick of it. I wish someone could just do it for me haha.
#2! With less pink. Even though it’s only a little pink, give me plain black & white and I’m good. Too much color makes me anxious lol.
Plain black and white interiors are so gorgeous! 🙂
Hi Mel:
Those home office inspirations are lovely. My favorites are #4, 7 and 8.
I also want to make some changes in my working space; I’m thinking in adding some shelves for extra space 🙂
Awesome! I’ve been thinking of adding shelves too — they really spice up interiors!
I really love #7. I don’t have very much office space at home, but the color palette in that room mirrors my inspiration corner that I love oh so much. I hope you’ll share what you end up doing with your office!
#7 is so gorgeous! And I totally will when it’s all finished. 🙂
#3! I can’t wait to move back to Australia in a few months and get started setting up a proper desk area. Those little fairy lights in #1 are fantastic too.
I’m so glad you pointed out those lights! I think they add so much to that room. Maybe I need those. Yes, yes I definitely need those. 😉
My favorites are #1 and #5. I love office/desk space inspiration. Right now I just have a desk in the bedroom, so I’m making the most of my space there. Its kind of an explosion right now though…time for a tidy!
haha desk explosions are my specialty! 😉
Workspace pins (via Pinterest haha) are my favorite!!! Although my own workspace is a complete mess 😛 -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s
amen to BOTH of those things!
My favorites are #2 and #8. The calendar in #2 is a really great idea and i love the storage boxes in #8 🙂
I agree about both of those things! They’d look cute together, too 🙂
#1 and #4 are amazing!! I love all of these and I am definitely getting back in the mood for some desk/”office” area updates! Pouring creativity into home decor has been so refreshing to me lately! Thanks for sharing these 🙂
Glad you think so, too, Gina! 🙂
4, 5 and 6 definitely! Love the pegboard and different organization styles! I recently did a similar post if you want to check it out!
I’m currently perusing your blog and loving everything! SO many helpful tips for someone just starting out as a freelancer and blogger 🙂 Thank you!
