Are you crazy about planners and organization, too? Good. You’re in the right spot. Today I’m sharing a few of the best planners for 2015, both because of their gorgeous covers and because of the way they’re laid out inside. There’s also a planner for every price point, so not to worry if cost is an issue. 🙂 I think you’ll love these options!
1. Danielle LaPorte’s Desire Map Day Planner // $34: First of all, I just love Danielle LaPorte’s philosophy, so the fact that she makes a planner is pretty exciting to me! I’ve heard great things about it already and would love to check it out for myself one day. The interior of the planner combines daily to-dos with action-based goals to help you feel great. It’s a pretty neat concept! Not to mention, I love the simple leather-looking cover.
2. Leonie Dawson’s Create Your Shining Year Planner // $10-25: This isn’t a standard planner — it’s more of a workbook that you should do at the beginning of the year, in order to create goals and action plans for the rest of the year. It’s my third year in a row using Leonie Dawson’s planners and I’m hooked! I love how soul-centered they are and that they get me to form real goals for my life and business. You can also download digital versions right meow! Highly recommend them!
3. Bloom Planner in Mint // $13: In 2014, I used a very similar planner and loved the interior layout. It’s perfect for writing down daily to-do lists and keeping your schedule organized. This one is also very budget friendly!
4. Lilly Pulitzer Agenda // $26: Not going to lie, when I found this one online, I kind of wished I hadn’t already bought a planner for 2015! It’s gorgeous. The inside also has lots of space (and stickers!) for crafting your best year yet.
5. Bloom Planner in Watercolor // $13: This is basically the same thing as #3, but I loved both covers and had to share ’em both! 🙂
6. Kate Spade Polka Dot Agenda // $40: Gah! How cute is this? I also love the inside. It’s the quality and gorgeous design style that you’d expect from Kate Spade.
7. Orange Anthropologie Planner by Poketo // $32: I love Anthropologie and Poketo, so it’s exciting to see them come together. Plus, this planner has that modern rustic feel and the interior is beautifully simple.
8. Whitney English Day Designer // ~$50: Perhaps the planner I’ve heard of and seen most — this beautiful planner seems pretty perfect! The interior pages are organized for ass-kicking and soul-quenching. Who wouldn’t love that? Their website says they’re currently restocking their planners, so I’m not sure of the exact price, but they should be back up by January 6th. 🙂

I’m a bit embarrased to say but I have bought the Smythson calendar for a few years now. Yes, super pricey but somehow it makes my time feel very valuable. This December I bought a calendar from Muji which was cheap and it seemed like a sensible thing to do but I really, really miss the Smythson feeling… I’m curious to see what the Kate Spade one is like, it looks cute!
Ahh I saw those when I was putting together this post! I almost included them, but for some reason I could only find a link to a journal-type Smythson book, not a planner. I can definitely understand how a nicer planner would make you value your time more though! 🙂
Ohh I wrote a post on this a few weeks back http://www.rosetintedhome.com/buying-day-planner/ – we are all getting into ‘planner’ mode for the new year. I was going to purchase the Day Designer but I decided after a few days of using the ‘test’ planner page (you can request this on the Day Designer website and they will send you a PDF page to try out) that I didn’t like the set up of the page. So I recently ordered the “To Do List” planner from ShePlans on etsy (https://www.etsy.com/listing/207067375/2015-to-do-list-planner-teal-dot?ref=listing-shop-header-1) ! So excited for it to arrive!

Ohhh going to check that one out! That’s neat that the Day Designer offers a test page — I want to try it too! I wish all planners did that 🙂
Oh, I’ve been working hard to find the perfect planner. Thanks for this post! I schedule clients, so I need a very specific type of layout with lots of space per individual day. I didn’t realize I was using a product called “Mom Agenda” all last year (i was wondering why it went from august to august!). The specific one I was using was for moms to arrange schedules for up to four children, which meant tons of space. Not a mom, but their products are awesome!
Ha! I guess you have the workload of a mom with four kids 😉 But that sounds awesome — I love a planner with lots of space.
I used to be a huge proponent of planners but I have switched digitally to tools that I actually use at work. Sunrise calendar and Todoist are pretty great, so is Trello. Although I do still like to keep a physical notebook to make notes about posts and ideas.
rae of love from berlin
Oh I should check those out! I used to use my phone for all my planning, but I really missed pen to paper and perhaps especially crossing things off my list 🙂
Last year i used the Erin Condren Life Planner and loved it! But I needed more space in the inside so I went with the Day Designer this year!
I’ve heard Erin Condren’s planners are great too! I may have to try the Day Designer one day. I heard they’re sold in some stores now, too, so maybe I’ll go have a look 😀
The polka dot one looks great. I really want to become more organised during 2015. I already bought myself a planner and I’m thinking on buying a weekly planner just for my blog, let’s see if I can have everything under control with that 🙂
Happy new year!
xx Cecil // http://www.wednesday19th.blogspot.com
Ahh the polka dot one was one of my favorites! I think a planner just for your blog is an awesome idea. I was thinking of doing that, too!
I’ve got a dodo pad for this year coming up and I’m so excited for it!!
Ohh what’s a dodo pad?! Sounds intriguing!
Those all look adorable! Everytime I try ‘paper’ planning I always fail miserably… I don’t know what it is, but somehow I am able to be much neater and organized digitally. I’d love any tips you might have on organization/online-planners/etc. 🙂
I used to be the same way, but I think I just needed to get into the habit of using a paper planner. Now, mine is always open to today’s date right next to me at my desk. I just put all of my to-do items for the day and cross them off as I finish them. Keeps me on track. 🙂
Have you heard of the Design Love Planner? That’s what I got for 2015. Just started using it this week and I’m in love!
No I haven’t! Going to check it out right now 😀
Let me know what you think!
I really wanted a Day Designer this year, but they were already out of stock when I went to order and I didn’t want Jan. 1 to pass by without one haha. So I just got a cheap Sugar Paper planner at Target, but it’s gold foil! 🙂 Maybe 2016 will be my Day Designer year.
I got a similar planner at Target last year and actually loved it, too! 🙂
I’ve been seeing a lot of hype about the Day Designer as well – certainly has me intrigued! I tend to lose motivation to use a written planner about halfway through the year and instead rely on OneNote and Sunrise. But I love looking at them!
It has me intrigued, too, Theresa! Seems like a lot of people use digital planners!
I love my Day Designer so much!
Ahh I want to try it!!
I hope these are affiliate links because I totally just invested in #2 and you should *totally* get credit for that! What an infectious personality that Leonie has. I can’t wait to use the printed version but luckily I get a digital version too 🙂 Thanks!
Ha! You’re so sweet. 🙂 And it is! 😉 I love Leonie’s stuff and those planner/workbooks she offers are awesome. I’ve bought them the last three years!
Yay! I am glad. I like giving credit to people who introduce me to new stuff if I can at all possible! 🙂
I got the downloadable version of Leonie’s workbook, and I have loved working through it! It’s a much better way of thinking about goals for the new year. I use a moleskine planner (the Little Prince one!), and I love the simplicity, but I keep hearing about the Day Designers. I’m going to have to check it out!
I’m glad you like Leonie’s workbook! I agree, she has a unique and encouraging way of helping you achieve your goals. 🙂
These look great! My planner is one of my essential tools. I use the Erin Condren Life Planner and LOVE it!
OHH I’ve heard her planners are awesome. Maybe one day! So many to try!!
I actually go with a plain Brownline every year. Every day has a page, with times down the left side. I draw a line down the middle of the page, and use the left with the times as a schedule, and the right side as a to do list. It’s what works for me!
Ohh I really like that! Especially the fact that everyday has a page. I mostly just make to-do lists anyways, so that sounds awesome!
I have the Day Designer. I like it but I will use something different next year.
That’s a popular one! How come you’re switching, Jessa?
I just don’t like it as much as I thought. I’m thinking about getting the Simplified Planner
I have the Lilly Pulitzer agenda, but in the orange grove monkey print, and I’m just as obsessed with it now as I was when I first got it when my academic year started in August! By simply opening my agenda, I am instantly put in a good mood and motivated to accomplish the tasks written in there 🙂 I think I might even get this agenda again for my next academic year! -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s
That’s awesome to hear, Audrey! I hadn’t heard of that one until I was researching for this post but was immediately saddened that I had already bought a planner for the year! It’s so beautiful!
I’m actually the worst person ever when it comes to using planners, but I picked up a sugar paper planner from target the other day in an attempt to actually use it and stay organized. Very excited to see if I actually put it to use or not!

I bought a planner from Target last year and actually loved it! 🙂
I was given a Kate Spade Planner and I’m enjoying it. I have heard of the others as well. I like the Quotes inside of my Kate Spade agenda. 🙂
The Kate Spade planner is one of my favorites from this list — so pretty!
I LOVE the Bloom planners but was so sad I couldn’t find one in Canada this year 🙁
Aw! Maybe online? They look great!
What a great list! I use a pretty simple, cute planner from Target, but I’ve been working through Leonie Dawson’s book and have been loving the way she asks questions. Look out 2015! 🙂
My planner last year was from Target too and I really liked it! I’m super glad you like Leonie’s book too, by the way!! 🙂
The Sugar Paper planners at Target are also super cute & affordable! I got one for my mom for Christmas, and I kind of wish I bought one for myself too 😉

I got one of these, the gold polka dotted one! I’m in love with it.
I have that same one in notebook form! 😀
Ahh those are super cute!! My planner last year was also from Target and I ended up really liking it!
I have such a planner addiction it’s crazy!!! I just got the Emily Ley Simplified Planner, but now I want the Day Designer lol!

Ahh that one is too pretty for my eyes!
i love planner – i have a midori which i carry around everywhere and a filofax ringbound planner at home.
Ahh love planners! I’m jealous you have two 😉
I have received just one week ago the a beautiful mess planner, which for me is a good planner even if I think I can find a better one…. now, after reading your post I want the day designer one!! We will see for next year!

I actually bought the ABM planner, too! I really liked the cover. The inside may not be the best for me though, so I might find another to feed my planner addiction 😉
How much was the ABM planner?
I believe it was $25!
I love the day designer one! x

I want to try that one!
I use one of the bloom planners for school! they’re really helpful
Yeah, those are awesome!
I love everything kate spade! There’s a really pretty emerald one too.
Yeah! The emerald one is really nice too! 🙂
This year I’m using one from Sugar Paper for the first time and I’m loving it. I included it in my 2015 workspace post: http://bit.ly/1vWFXA6
Awesome! A lot of people commented about that one — it sounds really great!
thanks for posting this!! 🙂 it makes me happy and excited to plan.
Yay! I love planning 🙂
Thanks so much for sharing this! This was just what I needed since I was looking for a new planner. I wanted to get the The Daykeeper but they’re sold out 🙁 I was super bummed but now I think I might choose either #1 or #8 from you list. You’re the best!
I think #1 and #8 might be my favorites from this list! You can’t go wrong! 🙂
Planners make me giddy! 😉 I have several friends who use the Day Designer but this year I fell in love with Emily Ley’s Simplified Planner.
I keep hearing about that one! I need to check it out — love the name!
Planners are the best thing to keep you organized! Technology can always fail, right now my calendar app won’t open. I like to be old school with these kind of stuff.

I agree! I love the physical act of writing down my to do list for some reason. 🙂
I am anxiously waiting for my Erin Condren planner. It’s on its way. Can’t wait!!!
Woohoo! Love new planners 🙂
You should add Emily Ley’s Simplified Planner to this list! I bought mine last year for 2015 and I LOVE it! It’s so perfect for keeping up with all of the to-do’s without some of the overwhelming extras (that really aren’t necessary) that some of the other planners have.

I’ll definitely have to check that one out!! A few other commenters mentioned it too, so I am clearly behind on the times!
I actually stumbled upon her website by chance last year and I believe the planners are a fairly new development so don’t beat yourself up too bad! She also has several organization/home binder printables for everyday organization too. Definitely worth checking out 🙂
